           I never seem to find funny quotes, so I decided to take a different approach on this one! When I saw this quote I was cracking up; literally rolling around on the ground. Who just thinks of something like that? What even makes it funnier is that it's TRUE! Facebook and any other online chatting site, takes over our lives. People sit on the computer for hours just looking at peoples pages, and adding people they have never met. It seems like we are trapped in facebook jail, once you get to that point you have to check your facebook every ten minutes. 

          The quote itself was a cute little saying, but when overlooking the cute and seeing the actual problem it's not quiet so funny anymore. I admit I miss the old days when you had to run down to the neighbors house to see if they could come out and play, you couldn't  just write them on facebook. We as a society have became to technologically attached that if there was a technology shut down, we would definitely have some serious problems. Don't get me wrong I LOVE the internet, but I just think we need to still be able to live a normal life without having our eyes glued to the computer screen.

        These types of quotes help me get through my everyday life, especially with soccer. I was very disappointed that i didn't go away to college to play soccer, or get a scholarship. I felt like i should've did more and tried harder, than i started thinking maybe I wasn't good enough. So instead of giving up I decided to go to Delta, but what I didn't know then was that our Delta Soccer team would be going to regionals our very first year ever having a girls team! Now that I struggled through my disappointments of playing college soccer, and now I am sharing our team success with the rest of the girls on my team. I thought it was all about the rich, big, famous college to play soccer, but it's not because I go to Delta and we are beating all those big colleges!
        A lot of people receive disappointment and then give up from then on and never get to see what could've been. If I was to give up on my soccer dreams, I probably wouldn't be the same girl I am today. Soccer helped me become a strong independent woman, who fights through disappointment. If there wasn't any disappointment in life, than there wouldn't be any success either.

       I really fell in love with this quote because it is beyond true. So many people get held back when they are capable of becoming something amazing. Even I have been held back from my dreams, and now I sit here and think what could've been and where I could've been. If people lived their lives to the fullest nobody would ever be afraid to try new things. You can't begin your life until you actually get out there and try something new, or make something of yourself. I looked to quotes as my inspiration and this quote makes me want to go out and do something crazy! We as humans don't understand how precious life is, we are always to worried about the little things that we deal with every day. If we stopped worrying about the future and lived for the moment we would make way better decisions. The only way we can change the future is by making decisions in the present.

        Grace Hansen herself was just a normal woman, but by writing this quote she lived her life. She stepped out of her element and wrote something that later became a master piece. This is my first time ever blogging so I wasn’t quite sure how to write a blog so wish me luck! My name is Bailey, but friends and family call me Bay. I am very passionate about quotes; they help me to see the positives in life. I write a lot of quotes, usually relating to my emotions that day. The quote above caught my eye, because I always try to make a huge impression on people, so they will never forget me, but really they will only remember the way i treated them. I always try to better myself, so knowing the things I’ve said in the past can’t be changed, I realized I can always change the way I treat people. It’s a lot harder to forget how someone made you feel inside, rather than what someone said to you. The author of the quote Maya Angelou is one of my big inspirations; she is literally the voice of contemporary literature. Angelou holds the power to speak to others in a way I am trying to learn to do. She had a hard life just like the rest of us, but writing was here way out.
