This is my first time ever blogging so I wasn’t quite sure how to write a blog so wish me luck! My name is Bailey, but friends and family call me Bay. I am very passionate about quotes; they help me to see the positives in life. I write a lot of quotes, usually relating to my emotions that day. The quote above caught my eye, because I always try to make a huge impression on people, so they will never forget me, but really they will only remember the way i treated them. I always try to better myself, so knowing the things I’ve said in the past can’t be changed, I realized I can always change the way I treat people. Feelings are the emotional reaction inside of someone’s character, usually only touched by people who they care about. It’s a lot harder to forget how someone made you feel inside, rather than what someone said to you. The author of the quote Maya Angelou is one of my big inspirations; she is literally the voice of contemporary literature. Angelou holds the power to speak to others in a way I am trying to learn to do. She had a hard life just like the rest of us, but writing was here way out. She turned her bad situations, into inspirations and that’s what mad her who she is today. After reading this quote, I am going to be more passionate in the way I make people feel.

  1. That is so true. How often do we have a disagreement with someone, and later we will not remember what they said or did that descriptively yet we will be hard pressed to forget how it made us feel.

  2. You have an interesting topic; I guess I never thought about how quotes affect my life. Then after reading your first post, it made me think about them.   3. I love your topic! Quotes have a strong meaning behind their words, and no matter what kind of mood you are in you can always find a quote to go along with it. Marilyn Monroe has some of the greatest quotes according to me. I love your blog and I will for sure be reading your future blogs!

  4. I also really enjoy your blog topic. One quote that I always go by in life is, "Wherever you go, go with all your heart." If you are somewhere and your heart is not, you shouldn't be there.

  7. What a great quote you have here. It's amazing how you remember how you feel at certain times in your life. We all have our ups and downs but that is how we live to learn and grow into stronger people. When I am going through a hard time in life I think about the footprints poem. I absolutely love that poem and it helps me get through some pretty tough moments.
