These types of quotes help me get through my everyday life, especially with soccer. I was very disappointed that i didn't go away to college to play soccer, or get a scholarship. I felt like i should've did more and tried harder, than i started thinking maybe I wasn't good enough. So instead of giving up I decided to go to Delta, but what I didn't know then was that our Delta Soccer team would be going to regionals our very first year ever having a girls team! Now that I struggled through my disappointments of playing college soccer, and now I am sharing our team success with the rest of the girls on my team. I thought it was all about the rich, big, famous college to play soccer, but it's not because I go to Delta and we are beating all those big colleges!
A lot of people receive disappointment and then give up from then on and never get to see what could've been. If I was to give up on my soccer dreams, I probably wouldn't be the same girl I am today. Soccer helped me become a strong independent woman, who fights through disappointment. If there wasn't any disappointment in life, than there wouldn't be any success either.
